Editions: Standard and Advanced

Pulse is sold on the Atlassian Marketplace in two editions, Standard and Advanced. Standard is the whole product. Advanced adds the similar meaning check, an AI check that finds pages on the same topic under other words, and lets space admins give their space a policy of its own.

Advanced includes everything in Standard.

  • The similar meaning check while you write. When you start a short new page and no title matches, Pulse asks once whether existing pages cover the same topic, and shows the ones it finds, checked with Confluence as you.
  • Pairs for Clean up. A background check finds pages that cover the same topic under other words and adds them to Clean up, marked Likely same topic with a short reason.
  • Space policies. Space admins can score their space with a policy of its own.

The edition is checked on Pulse’s server. On Standard, Pulse sends nothing to a model, and the screens say where a part belongs to Advanced.

The similar meaning check runs on Atlassian’s Forge LLMs, models hosted by Atlassian inside its platform. Pulse sends titles to it, never page text, and nothing goes to a third party AI provider. See Duplicate detection and the privacy policy.

Both editions are priced per user, billed through Atlassian. For the current prices, see the Pulse listing on the Atlassian Marketplace.

You choose the edition when you subscribe on the Marketplace, and you can change it later from your site’s app subscriptions, with no reinstall. Moving to Advanced turns the AI parts and space policies on. Moving back to Standard turns them off; your scores, settings, decisions and space policies stay as they were, and space policies become read only.
