Pulse Overview

Pulse scores Confluence pages for Health and AI readiness, and it coaches the author while the page is open in the editor. Most content tools report bad pages after the fact. Pulse shows the one change worth the most points while the page is being written, when a fix takes a minute, and confirms it a few seconds later.

Every person also gets a short list of the pages that need them, with one reason and one action per page. Every number is counted for the person looking at it, over the pages that person can open.

  • Small fixes, made as you. From Page vitals, replace a placeholder, remove links to pages in the trash, add the label needs-review or mention the page owner. Each change is made as you, after you confirm it. Changes Pulse can make

  • Confluence Cloud. Pulse is a Forge app and does not run on Data Center or Server.
  • A Confluence admin installs it. Nothing else needs setting up: Pulse starts reading the site by itself.
  • The three changes Pulse can make stay locked until a site admin approves Pulse’s permissions for them. Install Pulse explains how.
